The season of Lent traditionally has served as a time for Christians to focus on renewal and growth as disciples. That presumes a measure of personal liberty by which we make choices that allow us to move away from our failings and toward the cultivation of new values and ways of living.
In that context, Father Ken Himes OFM, sacramental minister at St. Vincent's, presented three Lenten Zoom programs each lasting 75 minutes on Wednesdays, March 6th, 13th and 20th at 7PM. These programs looked at how Catholic theologians think about our moral experience under the headings of freedom, sin, and conversion.
The presentations included lecture as well as time for conversation, and are available on the parish YouTube page.
