Join parishioner Meg Breen at her family’s homestead to learn about the same plant medicine that St. Hildegard of Bingen worked with and wrote about 900 years ago. A mystic, abbess, artist, composer and healer – Hildegard was an extraordinary woman we can learn much from today. On her feast day, Sept. 17th, come learn how to identify a variety of herbs that grow locally and their medicinal actions, and then make some teas, tinctures and salves. A $1-5 fee, according to your ability, will cover materials. All ages are welcome.
Questions and to register: [email protected] by Sept. 12th. Directions provided upon registration.
