When the elderly Angelo Roncalli was elected and became Pope John XXIII, many observers thought that he would serve as a caretaker until the next Pope was elected. However, he threw open the windows of the Church and opened Vatican II that led to major changes in our Church, both internally, and our linkages to the world. Betsy Rowe Manning, our former parish life director, will present about the life of this consequential man and saint on Sunday, April 3rd at 9:45AM in the parish hall.
