Conflict is never fun, but it is an inevitable part of life and any relationship. This presentation will explore the elements of conflict to prepare one to see conflict as natural and as an opportunity to deepen relationships and community. Between the Masses, from 9:45-10:145am on the upper level of the Parish Hall.
The following weekend on Sunday, Nov. 19, a free workshop will be offered following the 11am Mass for parishioners to put this information into practice. It will explore the elements of conflict and create a space for each person to learn skills for conflict resolution that can be used in their personal or professional life.
To register for the workshop, please email [email protected] with the name(s) of those attending, and any mobility or dietary restrictions or other accessibility concerns you may have. We are committed to making this workshop as accessible as possible and would like to be aware of our attendees' needs.
These opportunities are presented in partnership with Mediation Matters, an organization dedicated to strengthening communities and expanding access to the skills and processes that guide people, institutions, and communities through conflict, and fostering systemic change towards a more just and equitable society.
