Dr. Alice P. Green, founder of the Center for Law and Justice, has been a leading voice for criminal justice reform and racial equity for more than 35 years. Her memoir, "We Who Believe in Freedom: Activism and the Struggle for Social Justice," tells of her childhood in the Adirondacks, her advancement of reform in Albany and elsewhere, and thoughts on the future of the social justice movement.
