September 1st marks the beginning of the Season of Creation, an ecumenical period that unites Christians to pray and to act for our common home, the earth. The Season of Creation ends on October 4th, which is the feast of Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of the Environmental Movement.
From October 2021 to May 2022, we heard monthly presentations about the stories of each of the icons lives (and Black American Catholics of note in February) and then reflected on how those examples can support us in our faith. The taped presentations are available here.
