A Place of
Courageous Hospitality
Hospitality
Based on interest shown by the parish's youth, we are discussing a short trip to St. Francis Inn in Philadelphia. They have two weekends available for this summer: June 24-27 and July 8-10. The weekend would be a combination of serving at their soup kitchen, faith sharing and Mass, as well as exploring Philadelphia. The cost would be minimal (likely in the $50 dollar range).
There are only 8 spots available for housing there (with 2 chaperones). However, we know that many of our teens have not been away these past few years so we want to be supportive of a slow and safe introduction. Any parents wanting to come are more than welcome, we would just ask that you find housing for the 2 nights. You will be able to fully participate in all daytime activities and service.
Please contact Ellen Kueterman if this sounds like an opportunity your teen would like to participate in, and which weekend(s) you are available of June 24-27 and July 8-10, or if you have any other questions or concerns.

St. Vincent's believes that actions speak louder than words, especially with teens & tweens. Our Youth Ministry Program is designed to engage Middle School & High School youth (grades 6-12) in hands-on learning, intentional service & meaningful faith experiences.
A primary component of our comprehensive Youth Ministry program is our monthly Youth Day Sessions on Sundays from 12:15 - 2:15 pm.
These include snacks, so families can attend the 11:00 Mass to save a trip. The sessions incorporate prayer and community-building, as well as focused time for that day’s content topic.
New youth are welcome to join our program at anytime during the year.

Youth entering 8th grade and up are welcome to participate!
Confirmation Preparation
At St. Vincent's, we do immediate preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation in the fall for HS juniors (& HS seniors who haven't celebrated the sacrament yet).
After Confirmation, youth engage in service & ministry to our parish and larger community.
Congratulations to our newly Confirmed youth!
